My time is currently split between two roles, as follows:

As the ICAT Administrator, I plan, organise and co-ordinate all aspects of the programme.  This includes the following duties:

  • Monitoring progress against key milestones and the submission of progress forms
  • Processing expense claims in relation to the NIHR £1,000 Bursary
  • Monitoring ACF engagement with the Research Training Programme (RTP)
  • Monitoring expenditure from Faculty ICAT accounts

  • Co-ordinating the recruitment of Academic Clinical Lecturers (ACLs)
  • Servicing the ICAT Operations Group Committee

Manchester Academy for Healthcare Scientist Education (MAHSE) Co-ordinator

The main purpose of the role is to establish processes that facilitate the smooth running of the Healthcare Science (HCS) programme, to set up the MAHSE Board and ensure the continued engagement of key stakeholders in the education and training of healthcare scientists.
