Professor Tony Redmond
The course is led by Prof Tony Redmond. He has been involved in international emergency medical assistance for over twenty years, responding to natural disasters, major incidents, conflicts and complex emergencies throughout the world. In 2008 Professor Redmond headed a medical team sent to China following the 2008 earthquakes. Professor Redmond is co-Director of the Humanitarian and Conflict Response Institute, Hospital Dean at Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust, and Professor of International Emergency Medicine at Manchester Medical School within the University of Manchester.
