Travel by car
Wolfson Molecular Imaging Centre is located approximately 4 miles due south of Manchester city centre and within the M60 orbital ring road.
From the city centre (approx 4 miles) travel south along Oxford Street (B5117), it continues as Wilmslow Road (A6010) through the suburbs of Rusholme, Fallowfield and Withington. At Y Junction in Withington take the right hand fork, this is Palatine Road (B5167). The Centre is approximately 300 metres down on the left.

From M60 Eastbound
Leave the motorway at Junction 5, stay in left hand lane and filter off left after 200 metres onto slip road. At the lights at the bottom of the slip road turn left. Carry straight on along Palatine Road (B5767) for approximately one mile. Continue across traffic lights at Barlow Moor Road and Fog lane. The Centre is approximately quarter of a mile on the right.
From M60 Westbound
Leave the M60 at Junction 1 (pyramid). Take the third exit off the roundabout. Travel along Didsbury Road (A5145) Approx 2 miles (Up and over a long hill). At traffic lights at the junction with Kingsway (A34), go straight across, signposted Didsbury (A5145) under rail bridge through traffic lights and continue half a mile through Didsbury village. At traffic lights with Barlow Moor Road and School lane turn left into Barlow Moor Road. Travel approx half a mile and at traffic lights turn right into Palatine Road. Continue across traffic lights at Fog lane. The Centre is approximately quarter of a mile on the right.
From M56
Continue past the Manchester International airport. Follow signs to Manchester past Junction 3 where the road continues as Princess Parkway (A5103). Almost immediately, use the slip road and follow signs to Northenden. At the lights at the bottom of the slip road turn right under a bridge carrying the roadway. Carry straight on along Palatine Road (B5767) for approximately one mile. Continue across traffic lights at Barlow Moor Road and Fog lane. The Centre is approximately quarter of a mile on the right.
From A34
Follow Kingsway (A34) over the M60 at Gatley to traffic lights at East Didsbury/Parrswood. Stay in left lane, signposted Didsbury (A5145) under rail bridge through traffic lights and continue half a mile through Didsbury village. At traffic lights with Barlow Moor Road and School Lane turn left into Barlow Moor Road. Travel approx half a mile and at traffic lights turn right into Palatine Road. Continue across traffic lights at Fog Lane. The Centre is approximately quarter of a mile on the right.
